Toulouse vs PSG 11/02/18
11 February 2018
One of the worst attacks in the League 1 will host the best defense this weekend when Toulouse face Paris Saint-Germain at the Stadium Municipal. The Red and Blues are close to regaining the title from Monaco, as they are eleven points ahead of Marseille. With an average of 1.72 goals per a game, only Nantes is less ‘attractive’ home side than Toulouse in France. But, the Parisian giants are looking to change things up, with their monster attacking displays recently. PSG have scored 29 goals away from the Parc des Princes, with only Lyon standing in front of them.
After two narrow victories over Troyes and Nice, Toulouse will have to handle Neymar, Cavani, and Di Maria for 90 minutes, with the visitors coming off a remarkable 3-0 victory over Lille last Saturday.
However, Mikael Debeve can count on all the key players, except the Brazilian midfielder, Somalia, who is still in doubt after picking up an injury on the training ground.
Julian Draxler has returned to the field in the midweek win at Sochaux, which is the good news for Unai Emery, as Kylian Mbappe is still sidelined due to a horrible collision with Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopez. Thiago Motta will also be on the stands, and the highly-rated youngster Giovani Lo Celso is expected to take his place, while Adrien Rabiot’s participation remains questionable.
