The hosts head into this clash on a four-game winless PL run (D2, L2), with a dismal goalless away draw with Watford at the weekend piling more misery on a disappointing season for the Spurs fans. Placed eight points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, the Londoners need to kick-start their league campaign as soon as possible, and facing a team they’ve not lost to in three of their last top-flight H2Hs (W2, D1) could be a good place to start.
