Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City 30/10/18
30 October 2018
The two Premier League heavyweights are set to face-off against each other, as Tottenham Hotspur look to take on Manchester City at the Wembley Stadium.
The Spurs have won the past four league matches, having kept a clean sheet three times in the process. However, although it’s already been nine fixtures, the London side only featured in three home games, recording two wins over Fulham and Cardiff City, while suffering a 2-1 loss to Liverpool. Mauricio Pochettino’s side is just one of two teams that are yet to play out a draw, along with Arsenal, as they currently occupy the 5th place with a record of seven victories and two failures. Additionally, Tottenham have scored at least one goal in every single game across all competitions this season.
On the other hand, the Citizens are unbeaten in the previous seven encounters in all competitions, having four wins in the last five Premier League clashes. With 26 goals scored so far, the reigning EPL champions have by far the best goalscoring record in the English top flight. Moreover, Pep Guardiola’s players have the best defense in England, as they’ve only allowed three goals this season, keeping a clean sheet six times in the process. Wolverhampton Wanderers were the only side to beat Ederson on the road this year, with Arsenal, Cardiff City, and Liverpool all failing to go past City’s defense.
