Torino and Lazio go head-to-head at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino in a potentially high-scoring Serie A affair. Indeed, five of their last seven top-flight H2Hs have produced over 3.5 goals, with five seeing both teams score, too.

The hosts are going through a rough period, having lost seven of their last nine Serie A fixtures (W1, D1), as they harbor a six-point lead over relegation-threatened Lecce ahead of this round. The ‘Maroons’ have not only failed to keep a blank sheet in eight of their last nine league matches, but they’ve conceded over 1.5 goals on six of those occasions, with 58.33% of the goals shipped across those encounters coming in the second half of play (14/24). Moreover, Moreno Longo’s men have reeled off a series of underwhelming performances at home lately, scoring under 1.5 goals in ten of their 11 previous Serie A games held at this venue, including the last six.

In turn, Simone Inzaghi’s men lost just two first halves in 13 league road trips this term (HT: W5, D6), but they lost two of five Serie A away games in which they were on the front foot at the break (W3). Even if they concede the opening goal here, Lazio are likely to bounce back, given that they lost only one of five league away matches in which they’ve shipped the opener (W2, D2).
