Bayer Leverkusen head to the Mercedes-Benz Arena to meet Stuttgart in a potentially low-scoring Bundesliga affair. Indeed, all five of their previous league H2Hs have featured under 2.5 goals, with none seeing both teams score.

Despite accruing a win and a loss in their opening two Bundesliga fixtures, the hosts have been a fun team to watch. Taking their accomplishments from the final stage of the last season, ‘Die Werkself’ have netted under 1.5 goals in four of their previous top-flight trips, with both of their goals scored across those meetings coming in the second half of play. Peter Bosz would like to see his team avoid conceding the opening goal, though, considering Leverkusen clinched just one win from six Bundesliga trips in which they shipped the opener back in 2019/20 (W1, D1, L4).
