Aberdeen will be looking to bring a three-game winless streak in the Premiership H2Hs with St Johnstone when the two sides meet at McDiarmid Park this week.

The hosts have picked up a little bit of everything in the opening three league fixtures (W1, D1, L1), with the last two of those matches producing over 2.5 goals. All three of St Johnstone’s Premiership goals scored this term arrived in the second half of play, two of which came no earlier than the 80-minute mark. Derek McInnes’ players have avoided defeat in all six of their competitive trips this calendar year (W2, D4), keeping a clean sheet in three. In turn, the ‘Dandies’ have not lost to St Johnstone in six consecutive top-flight H2Hs held at this venue (W3, D3), restricting their hosts to a maximum of one goal per match in each.
