Encouraged by a narrow 1-0 home win over Lazio, AC Milan travel to the Stadio Ennio Tardini to face-off Parma hoping to stretch a winning run in H2Hs to four games.

Winless in their last five Serie A outings (D2, L3), the hosts sit 14th but are still frantically looking over their shoulders as they have a six-point lead over 18th-placed Empoli with six league games left to go. A run of poor form has seen I Crociati lost five of their previous seven SA home clashes (W1, D1, L5) failing to find the back of the net four times across those fixtures. Another potential worry for Roberto D’Aversa is that his players have struggled for clean sheets during that period; preserving just two clean slates while allowing 2+ match goals four times. Meanwhile, last week’s win over Lazio has brought the visitors’ four-game SA winless run to an end (D1, L3) as they now sit fourth with a one-point lead over sixth-placed AS Roma. The Rossoneri’s struggling away from home has seen them secure just five wins on 15 SA road trips (W5, D6, L4), which is 33.33% of their total SA victories. Moreover, Gennaro Gattuso’s men have entered this round carrying back-to-back SA away defeats although both have come against teams from the upper half of the table. Gattuso’s main worry ahead of this meeting could be Milan’s inability to keep a clean sheet on the road considering they’ve conceded at least one goal in all five of their previous SA away games.
