Dead-last Paderborn welcome second-placed Borussia Dortmund to the Benteler Arena desperate to post their first-ever win in their Bundesliga (BL) H2Hs (D2, L1).

The hosts enter this round on a run of nine consecutive league matches without a win (D4, L5), with the last three all witnessing under 2.5 goals and the identical 0-0 second-half scoreline. Sitting nine points adrift of the safe zone, Paderborn desperately need to start picking up some points, but four defeats in their five previous top-flight home fixtures can’t encourage the home fans. Yet, the Benteler Arena has been a venue of entertainment, with six of Paderborn’s last eight BL games here seeing over 2.5 goals and both teams on the scoresheet.
