AC Milan head to the Stadio Via del Mare to take on a Lecce side they’ve managed to beat only once in their last six Serie A (SA) H2Hs held at this venue (D4, L1).

The hosts had gone from three successive league triumphs to back-to-back defeats before the coronavirus pandemic froze the club season in Italy as they enter this round occupying a place in the relegation zone but level on points with 17th-placed Genoa. The Rossoneri have netted an average of 1.15 goals per SA away fixture, notching up over 1.5 goals in just four of 13 league road trips. However, Stefano Pioli’s players often move through the gears in the second half, with ten of their 15 SA away goals scored so far arriving after the break (66.67%).
