Juventus vs Udinese 11/03/18

11 March 2018

After eliminating Tottenham Hotspur from the Champions League, Juventus will face Udinese at the Allianz Stadium looking for a new victory and potentially taking over the first place in Serie A. The Old Lady has been unstoppable in the Italian championship over the past couple of months winning eleven consecutive games and conceding just one goal in the process. Udinese, on the other hand, have lost three matches in a row, two of them away from the Dacia Arena, but they are in a safe zone, without many chances of reaching European football. The Friulian White-blacks have lost fourteen out of previous twenty encounters in Turin, but they’ve managed to beat the Bianconeri six times. However, such a scenario is unlikely to happen now.
Mario Mandzukic could recover from a slight thigh strain, but Massimiliano Allegri has a few important players sidelined due to injuries, including Juan Cuadrado, Mattia De Sciglio, Federico Bernardeschi, and Medhi Benatia, while Alex Sandro and Stephan Lichtsteiner won’t be available, as both have accumulated five yellow cards. Kevin Lasagna and Danilo are ruled out for the visitors because of injuries, and Massimo Oddo can’t count on Rodrigo Aguirre and Alexis Zapata, both suspended for the game.
