Juventus vs Atalanta 15/03/18

15 March 2018

Juventus have raised their game since Paulo Dybala returned to the field after the long break, and following a comfortable victory over Udinese in Turin, the Old Lady is set to host Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium looking to extend their lead over Napoli to four points. The defending champions have won eleven times in a row in Italy conceding just one goal during the period, and considering Atalanta’s recent attacking displays, things will hardly change now. The only team who managed to beat Massimiliano Allegri’s side at home this season was Lazio back in October. However, since then Juventus have only failed to win against Tottenham and Barcelona in the Champions League, and Inter in the national championship, triumphing in seven consecutive home games in Serie A. On the other hand, the Goddes have slowed things down a bit after a promising start of the campaign although they’ve won three out of their previous five Serie A encounters. The Bergamo based club desperately want to end a scandalous 16-game winless streak, as they’ve lost fifteen times during their last sixteen trips to Turin.

Juan Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi are unavailable for the hosts, as both are suffering severe leg injuries, while Mattia Caldara won’t be at Gian Piero Gasperini’s disposal after picking up a back injury.
