Juventus vs Atalanta 01/03/18

01 March 2018

Juventus and Atalanta were supposed to meet each other last weekend in Serie A, but the match was delayed due to bad weather conditions. Now the Old Lady will host the Goddess at the Allianz Stadium in the Coppa Italia second leg. Gonzalo Higuain’s goal has decided the first game at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, but the visitors have had their chances, especially Papu Gomez, who missed a penalty in the first half. Considering that Juventus have lost only one game at home this season and that Atalanta failed to win in Turin for more than 20 years, it is evident Gian Piero Gasperini’s team will have a difficult job to advance to the next stage. Although the Bergamo based side has won six out of their last nine road games in all competitions, they seem to don’t stand a chance against the Italian champions.

Rodrigo Bentancur is out due to suspension, while Juan Cuadrado, Mattia De Sciglio, and Federico Bernardeschi are all injured, and Massimiliano Allegri can’t count on their services for this encounter, but Paulo Dybala could be in the starting eleven after returning from injury.

Gasperini has all of his key players available for the match except Luca Rizzo, who sustained a ruptured patella tendon and will not travel to Turin.
