Rock-bottom Hannover 96 and the Champions League promotion fighters Borussia Monchengladbach go head-to-head at the HDI-Arena, with both sides frantically searching for all three points.

With six Bundesliga fixtures left to go, the hosts need to pick a win here as they currently sit 11 points adrift of the BL safety. Hannover’s tally of three wins after 28 league matchdays (W3, D4, L20) is the league’s joint-worst, as Thomas Doll and his men enter this round carrying on a seven-game BL losing streak. Another encouraging fact for the traveling side is Monchengladbach’s recent record with Hannover, with Die Fohlen clinching wins in all three of their last Bundesliga H2Hs.
