Dallas vs Sevilla 18/07/19

18 July 2019

Sevilla will kick off their US tour at Toyota Stadium in Texas as they take on the MLS outfit Dallas in a friendly fixture.

Unable to maintain consistency, the Toros have secured just two wins in their last six outings (W2, D2, L2). Interestingly, both of those wins have seen them beat their rivals to nil, while both of those failures ended with the identical 1-0 scoreline against their favor. But, all four of Dallas’ previous games have featured under 2.5 goals, and none has seen both teams score. Notably, just one of the last four goals witnessed in Dallas’ matches has come after the halftime whistle. A promising fact for Luchi Gonzalez is that his players have kept three clean sheets in their last six games, allowing over 1.5 goals per match only once along the way.

La Liga giants have already played out two friendlies this summer, beating the Tanzanian side Simba 5-4 and the Championship outfit Reading 2-1. Los Hispalenses are now on a four-game unbeaten streak (W3, D1) having kept a clean sheet only once during the run. Six of Sevilla’s last nine outings have produced over 2.5 goals while four have seen both teams score. If Los Rojiblancos win here, it will probably see them score over 1.5 match goals, as eight of their last wins saw them score two or more goals.
