Crystal Palace vs Arsenal 28/10/18

After a narrow 1-0 triumph over Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League, Arsenal will face-off against Crystal Palace at the Selhurst Park, hoping to extend an outstanding 11-game winning run in all competitions.

The Eagles are going through a nightmarish period, as they reside in the 15th place with a record of two wins, one draw, and six defeats. With just five goals scored so far, they have the second-worst attacking record in the Premier League after Huddersfield Town, as they are yet to open the account on the home ground. The Glaziers have lost three out of four home matches, having been held to a scoreless draw to Newcastle United, which makes them the third-worst hosts in English top flight. Additionally, Roy Hodgson’s team lost the previous three league encounters, with their last triumph dating back to mid-September.

In the meantime, the Gunners have been amazing this season under the guidance of Unai Emery. Although they’ve lost the opening two Premier League clashes, the London side wrapped up seven straight league wins, having scored at least two goals in each of those matches. With twelve goals scored away from Emirates, Emery’s team has the best scoring road record, as they are the only ones along with Tottenham to notch double figures away from home. However, Arsenal are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road, which places them in rank with Fulham, Huddersfield, Everton, and West Ham.
