Borussia Monchengladbach vs Freiburg 16/03/19

Struggling Borussia Monchengladbach welcome Freiburg to the Borussia-Park obliged to secure a triumph and keep the distance between them and fifth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt at three points.

Currently running for the top-four finish, the hosts chase their second successive Bundesliga victory following a narrow 1-0 road win over Mainz 05 last time out. Not only the Reds have bagged an average of 0.85 goals scored per match away from home, but they have allowed 21 goals in 12 BL road meetings, keeping a clean sheet just twice so far. Additionally, Christian Streich’s players have barely wrapped up one point in four road encounters with top-five teams (D1, L3), scoring just two goals while conceding eight during the run.
