The two struggling sides are set for a face-to-face meeting at the King Power Stadium, as Leicester City prepare to take on Burnley.
With a record of five wins, one draw, and five losses, the Foxes currently reside in the 10th place, mainly thanks to the disappointing defensive performance. The 2015-2016 Premier League champions have only kept a clean sheet three times, having conceded a total of 16 goals in the opening eleven league encounters. However, led by the likes of James Maddison and Jamie Vardy, Claude Puel’s men notched 17 goals so far, bagging a brace five times in the process. A 64% of Leicester’s matches have produced a minimum of three goals, which puts them in rank with Arsenal and Tottenham.
On the other hand, the visitors are going through a rough period, as they’ve already lost seven Premier League clashes. Moreover, Sean Dyche’s players have lost three consecutive matches, having allowed 13 goals. With 25 goals conceded, the Clarets have the 2nd-worst defensive record in the English top flight, as they’ve only managed to keep a clean sheet twice since the start of the season. Additionally, Burnley score an average of 1.09 goals per match, having failed to find the back of the net five times this season. A 67% of Burnley’s away meetings have ended with three or more goals, with Dyche’s side keeping an empty net just once in the process.
