Koln and Fortuna Dusseldorf will face off at the RheinEnergieStadion in the bottom-half-of-the-table clash.
The home side have endured a dip in form, going from three straight Bundesliga (BL) defeats to two consecutive league games without a victory (D1, L1). All five of those matches during that period have produced over 2.5 goals, with the last three seeing both sides on the scoresheet, too. Alexander Wehrle’s men have been quite impressive at home since the turn of the year, losing just once in five BL home outings since the calendar flipped (W3, D1). Extending that run would require Dusseldorf to prevent Koln from finding the opening goal, considering they managed just three points from seven BL away fixtures in which they’ve conceded the opener (D3, L4).
