Juventus and Lokomotiv Moscow go head-to-head in the UEFA Champions League (CL) Group D at the Allianz Stadium, with the home side looking to extend winning run in H2Hs to three straight games.
After a 2-2 away draw with Atletico Madrid in the curtain-raiser, the hosts have kick-started their European campaign with a convincing 3-0 home triumph over Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, the visitors have failed to build on a stunning 2-1 away win over Bayer Leverkusen in their Group D opener, having suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Atletico Madrid last time out. However, the Russian outfit have picked up two consecutive triumphs in the Russian Premier League in the build-up to this meeting, netting two goals apiece while conceding one in total. Also, a victory at the BayArena has helped Loko to put an end to their frustrating four-game losing European away run. In spite of their recent struggling away from home, Loko have lost just five of their previous 14 continental trips (W5, D4), which, however, stays in sharp contrast to their overall record on Italian soil (D2, L3).
