The newly-promoted hosts have marked their return to the Spanish top tier with a thrilling 4-4 away draw with Villarreal. As for the visitors, they’ve sealed a 2-0 away win over Espanyol in the opening matchday to stretch their unbeaten LL run to three games (W2, D1), last season included. Notably, six of Sevilla’s previous seven LL triumphs have seen them beat their rivals to nil, with four of those games ending with the identical 2-0 scoreline in their favor. Still, Los Rojiblancos’ away games have lacked entertainment lately, as just one of their previous six LL trips has produced over 2.5 goals, with Sevilla netting one goal or less four times across the same period.
