Georgia and Switzerland go head-to-head for the opening game of Group D of the European Championship qualifiers.
The hosts seem to be going through a purple patch having finished top of their respective UEFA Nations League (UNL) group, without suffering a single defeat in six competitive outings (W5, D1). Although they’ve sustained a disappointing 1-0 loss to Luxemburg in the build-up to their UNL journey, Vladimír Weiss’s men have been outstanding during the competition, scoring 12 goals while conceding just two in the process.
