West Ham United vs Manchester United 11/05/18

11 May 2018

A 2-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium has virtually secured West Ham another season within the English top flight, and with no pressure, the Hammers are set to host Manchester United at the Olympic Stadium looking to end a three-game losing streak against the Red Devils. Although the London side had huge expectations ahead of the current Premier League campaign, poor first half of the season and various ups and downs have contributed to what’s going to be a year their fans would like to forget as soon as possible. On the other hand, Jose Mourinho has failed to win the league title in his second season in charge of Manchester United despite gigantic investments made by the club executives last summer, but it’s fair to say the Red Devils haven’t been at the top of their game especially at the start of the season. However, the three-time Champions League winners have won three out of their previous four encounters on the road in the Premier League, losing only to Brighton last weekend, while West Ham failed to achieve victory three times in last five matches at home.

Pedro Obiang, Winston Reid, and Michail Antonio are all ruled out with injuries in the home squad, while Sergio Romero won’t be available for the visitors.
