Sitting one point adrift of the BL toppers Bayern, the Black and Yellows have to find the way to solve their road crisis as they can’t afford another failure here. BVB’s immense problems away from home have seen them secure just one triumph on their previous five BL road trips (W1, D2, L2), with all three of those defeats saw them failed to find the net. The one thing that can encourage Lucien Favre ahead of this clash is Dortmund’s impressive road record against Freiburg, as BVB pulled off six victories on their last seven visits to this venue (W6, D1).
