Arsenal have only recorded one win in their last five Premier League games in the 4-1 victory over Crystal Palace, so the three points against Everton is a must for the North London side in order to keep alive their Champions League hopes.

Meanwhile, Everton are struggling against EPL top teams, as they have only managed to pull out two draws against Manchester City and Liverpool. Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal, who they are going to meet this weekend, have all demolished the Toffies this season. They have also fought just one positive outcome in their last eight head-to-head contests against Arsenal, allowing the reds to score five goals at the Goodison Park last October.

The Gunners are quite efficient at the Emirates with 31 goals, only Manchester City have scored more, while Everton have experienced troubles keeping the clean sheet away from home.

Arsene Wenger can’t count on Santi Cazorla, while his new signing Pierre-Emerich Aubameyang and Danny Welbeck are both expected to jump Saturday’s game due to illness and muscle fatigue.

On the other hand, the Everton’s captain Leighton Baines won’t be able to play along with James McCarthy and Ramiro Funes Mori due to injuries. The absence of Martin Stekelenburg won’t matter since Sam Allardyce has full trust in Jordan Pickford.
